Privacy Policy
How Zippyly collects, uses, stores, and protects your information.
Last Updated: July 31, 2026
Your privacy is important to Zippyly, a brand operated by Antilver Systems Private Limited (CIN: U62099KA2026PTC220880), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (Registered Office: Bangalore, Karnataka, India) (referred to here as the "Company", "Zippyly", "we", "us", or "our").
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") sets out how we collect, use, process, store, retrieve, disclose, transfer, and safeguard your information — including personal information and any sensitive personal data or information ("Information") — that we may obtain when you access or use the Zippyly mobile application (the "Zippyly App") or our website at https://zippyly.com (together, the "Zippyly Platform"), when you interact with us offline (for example by email, phone, or in person), or when you use our Services.
The words "you" and "your" refer to a Captain, a Customer, a Retailer, or any other user of the Zippyly Platform or of the Services. "Services" means any service we offer under the terms and conditions applicable to you (available on the Zippyly Platform), whether through the Platform or otherwise. Capitalised terms that are not defined here carry the meaning given to them in those terms and conditions.
Please review this Policy before using the Zippyly Platform or sharing any Information with us. This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, the terms and conditions applicable to users of the Zippyly App.
1. Your Acceptance
By accessing or using the Zippyly Platform or the Services, you agree to this Policy and to any updates we may make and publish on the Zippyly Platform from time to time. We handle your Information in line with this Policy and with applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and other applicable data-protection laws in India ("Applicable Laws"). If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Zippyly Platform.
You confirm to us that:
- the Information you share with us is and will remain genuine, accurate, current, and complete, and that you hold all rights, permissions, and consents needed to provide it;
- your sharing of the Information, and our resulting collection, storage, use, transfer, access, or processing of it, does not breach any agreement, Applicable Law, constitutional document, judgment, order, or decree; and
- where you share Information about other individuals, you are authorised to do so and to allow us to use it in accordance with this Policy.
2. Definitions
Unless stated otherwise, capitalised terms used in this Policy have the following meanings:
- "Captain" means an independent third-party vehicle operator or rider who offers ride or delivery services to users through the Zippyly Platform.
- "Customer" (or rider) means a person who wishes to use the services of Captains or Retailers via the Zippyly Platform.
- "Retailer" means a third-party merchant or store that lists products and/or dispatches orders for delivery through the Zippyly Platform.
- "Device" means any computer, mobile, or other device used to access the Services.
- "Device Identifier" means the IP address or any other unique identifier of a Device.
- "Personal Information" means information that can reasonably identify you, such as your name, email address, and mobile number.
- "Usage Information" has the meaning given in Section 3(B).
- "TPSP" means a third-party service provider.
- "Promotion" means any contest, sweepstake, or promotional activity we offer.
3. What Information We Collect
A. Information you give us
We may request certain Personal Information from you — for example during account registration, through contact forms, or whenever you interact with us — and we collect only what is needed for a lawful purpose connected with our Services. When you sign up, you create a user profile. The Information you provide may include:
- Account details: information used to create or update your Zippyly account, such as email, name, address, mobile number, gender, date of birth, photograph, login name, password, and banking or payment-related details (to the extent permitted by Applicable Laws).
- Saved details: information we store to process your requests and pre-fill forms for future bookings, including your phone number, address, email, billing details, and emergency contact information.
- Verification details (Captains and Retailers): location details, profile photo, call and SMS details, copies of government-issued identity documents (such as Aadhaar or PAN), licence details and other KYC documents, and vehicle documents (such as registration certificate, permit, fitness certificate, insurance, and pollution certificate) evidencing eligibility to provide Services. Captains may also be asked to capture and upload real-time self-photos (selfies) so we can verify identity. For Retailers, we may also collect proof-of-sourcing documents (such as purchase invoices or brand-authorisation letters) for product categories we treat as higher-risk, before or during their time listing in that category.
- Background-check details: identity-verification and background information for Captains and Retailers, which may include driving history or, where the law allows, criminal records and right-to-work checks. A TPSP may collect this on our behalf.
- Complaint and dispute evidence: where you report an issue with an order or trip (such as a missing, damaged, incorrect, or counterfeit item, or a delivery dispute), photographs, descriptions, and any other evidence you or the other party provide to help us investigate and resolve it, and, at the point of pickup and delivery, photographic or code-based proof of handover captured by the Captain.
- Access to other apps (Captains and Retailers): where you enable features that require access to other applications on your Device, used to help prevent and detect fraud against Customers.
- Other details: information you provide when you contact support or report a problem, content you submit electronically (such as in-app messages, ratings, reviews, or comments), and — if you refer a friend — your friend's name and contact details, which we may use to promote our Services.
You agree not to upload, share, host, publish, or transmit any content that: is unlawful, harmful, offensive, harassing, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or otherwise objectionable, or that promotes money laundering, gambling, or violence; misleads about its origin or contains false or misleading information; or threatens the security, sovereignty, or public order of India or its friendly relations with other states.
B. Information we collect as you use the Zippyly App
- Transaction information: trip and order details, pick-up and drop-off addresses, distance travelled, and payment-transaction information (subject to Applicable Laws).
- Location data:
- Captains and Retailers: we collect location data while the Zippyly App runs in the foreground (open on screen) or background (not actively in use). For Captains, this happens only when the "On-Duty" status is enabled in the App.
- Customers: with your permission, we collect precise or approximate location from your Device from the time a Service is requested until it is completed, and whenever the App is in the foreground. We use this to improve pick-up locations, enable safety features, and prevent and detect fraud. Even if you have not enabled location sharing, we collect the Captain's location during a trip and associate it with your account so we can provide receipts, customer support, and safety features.
- Usage Information: we, our TPSPs, and Retailers may use technologies that automatically collect certain information when you use the Zippyly Platform ("Usage Information"), such as your browser, the referring URL, the areas of the Services you visit, time of access, searches and results, and your activity within the App.
- Health-related information (Captains): where relevant, declarations such as body temperature, symptoms, vaccination status, and other health conditions.
- Device information: technical and aggregated usage data — which may include your Device Identifier, preferred language and region, device manufacturer, software, model and type, operating system and version, geolocation, mobile-network data, screens viewed, gestures and scrolling, and other in-app actions — used to improve the experience and deliver software updates and support. We do not collect passwords or sensitive information about other apps running on your Device, and such sensitive information is masked.
- SMS/text messages: with your permission, we may read SMS data only to (i) issue and receive one-time passwords and verify your device, and (ii) auto-fill verification details during financial transactions, whether directly or through a TPSP. We do not share SMS data with any third party except as described in this Policy.
- Call details (Captains and Retailers): we may record your calls with us made from the Device used to provide Services, along with related call details.
- Other usage details: information about how you interact with the App and linked websites, such as how often and how long you use particular features and the actions you take.
- Cookies: Usage Information may be collected using cookies. You can accept or refuse cookies through your browser or Device settings; disabling them may affect some features. We are not responsible for third-party cookies, which are not covered by this Policy.
C. Information third parties provide about you
We may receive Information about you from our affiliates or from third parties / TPSPs — such as technical sub-contractors, business partners, analytics and search providers, and payment processors — as well as from publicly available sources such as marketing lists, social networks, and related media.
4. How We Use the Information
Our main aim in collecting Information is to give you a better experience of the Services. We may use it to:
- provide you access to the Zippyly Platform and verify your identity and eligibility to offer Services;
- understand which features are used most, show your trip history, let you rate trips or bookings, and decide where to focus services and improvements;
- send welcome and account-verification messages, and provide the right app version for your Device for troubleshooting and, in some cases, marketing;
- diagnose technical problems and administer the Platform;
- send essential service announcements (for example, maintenance notices);
- prevent and investigate breaches of this Policy or our terms, and detect security incidents, fraud, money laundering, abuse, and other unlawful activity, and take remedial action — including assessing the fraud or safety risk associated with a Retailer's product category or listing pattern, or a Captain's delivery pattern, so we can respond before or shortly after a problem reaches a Customer rather than only once a pattern of complaints has built up;
- share limited details (such as your name, pick-up address, and contact number) with the Captain or Retailer who accepts your request so they can reach and locate you;
- use geolocation so Customers can see nearby Captains/Retailers, auto-detect pick-up points, and optionally share their location for safety; and, for Captains (when "On-Duty"), receive nearby requests, allow Customers to track approach, and support Customer safety;
- share a Captain's name, vehicle number, driving-licence number, phone number, profile photo (where applicable), and tracking details with Customers to deliver the Services;
- provide requested information, offers, or transactions; enable participation in Promotions; communicate about your use of the Services; support internal business purposes and data analytics; and fulfil purposes disclosed when you provide the Information;
- personalise and improve the Platform and Services, and provide relevant offers or rewards based on your usage;
- enforce our terms and this Policy and resolve disputes; analyse performance and fix errors and bugs;
- comply with Applicable Laws and lawful requests from regulators, government, law-enforcement, or courts, and meet our contractual obligations;
- disclose Information to our affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives on a need-to-know basis to deliver the Services;
- send administrative notices and communications relevant to your use of the Services through channels such as social media (including WhatsApp), SMS, and other media; and
- fulfil any other purpose for which you provide the Information, or with your consent.
We do not use the Information we collect from you for targeted advertising.
5. How and When We Disclose Information to Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your Information, except as described in this Policy or as disclosed when you provide it. We may share Information in the following situations:
When you agree to share with third parties
If you choose to access third-party links or accept offers from third parties through the App, your Information will be shared with them and governed by their privacy policies and practices, for which we are not responsible. Please review their policies before agreeing.
Third parties providing services on our behalf
We share Information with TPSPs, business partners, and agents that help us run the Services — for example, hosting, feature design and operation, analytics, payment processing, anti-fraud and security, background and identity verification, customer support, geolocation delivery to Captains/Retailers, and other technical or administrative services. These parties may access Information only to perform their services and are contractually required to protect it to the same standard we apply and not to use it for any other purpose. Analytics providers may set their own cookies, web beacons, or scripts.
Co-branded services
Some parts of the Services may be offered together with third parties (such as credit or loan providers, sponsors, or charities) and may require you to share Information with them. Such co-branded services will identify the third party, and by registering for them you consent to sharing your Information with both us and that third party, subject to their privacy practices.
Contests and promotions
If you take part in a Promotion, you agree to its official rules, which may allow the use of your name, voice, or likeness in related marketing, and may require disclosure of your Information for administration, winner selection, and prize fulfilment, or as the law requires.
Legal and administrative reasons
We may access, use, preserve, transfer, and disclose your Information (including Personal Information, IP address, Device Information, or geolocation) to government, law-enforcement, or private parties where we reasonably believe it is necessary to: comply with the law or legal process; enforce or defend our terms; protect the safety, rights, property, or security of Zippyly, our Services, or others; protect public safety; detect or address fraud and security or technical issues; or prevent activity we consider illegal, unethical, or legally actionable.
Affiliates and business transfers
We may share Information with our parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates for business and operational purposes, and may transfer it to a subsequent owner or operator of the Services, or in connection with a merger, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar corporate change (including during due diligence).
Market study and other benefits
We may share Information with third parties to conduct market research and data analysis, customise our offerings, improve our products and Services, or make other benefits available to you.
6. Third-Party Content and Links
The Services may include content supplied by third parties, who may collect usage information and your Device Identifier when their content loads. You may also be directed to third-party sites or apps that we do not control, where this Policy no longer applies. Content you knowingly upload, share, or transmit to others (such as photos, reviews, or trip details) is also subject to the privacy policy of the platform you share it with. Social-media features and widgets are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them. Where a third party is located in another jurisdiction, your Information may become subject to that jurisdiction's laws. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
7. Information Collected by Captains and Retailers
This Policy does not cover any information about you obtained by Captains or Retailers while they provide ride, delivery, or related services to you, or otherwise.
8. Updating Your Information and Closing Your Account
You are responsible for keeping the Information you give us accurate. If it changes, or if you no longer want our Services, you can correct, update, or delete it from your profile page, by emailing us at the address shown on the Zippyly Platform, or by contacting the Grievance Officer. We will make reasonable efforts to apply requested changes promptly.
You may also change or cancel the communications you have chosen to receive from us by following the instructions in our emails or by updating your account preferences. If a change leaves us unable to provide the Services due to insufficient or inaccurate Information, we may, at our discretion, end your access after notifying you at your registered email.
To delete your account, use Profile → Delete my account in the Zippyly App, or — if you no longer have the app installed — email us with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Full details of both routes, and of exactly what is erased and what is retained, are on the Delete Account page. You may also contact us at the email shown on your trip bill, on the Zippyly Platform, or via the Grievance Officer. We may be unable to provide some or all Services if you disable access to certain Information.
When you delete your account, your direct identifiers — name, email address, date of birth, gender, blood group, emergency contact and profile photo — are erased immediately, and your sign-in is destroyed so the account cannot be accessed again.
We retain your Information (including Personal Information and Usage Information such as geolocation) while your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After your account is closed, we keep some Information (including geolocation, trip history, and transaction history) in de-identified form for up to 180 days to resolve disputes, complete account-closure activities, prevent or investigate fraud and misuse, and enforce our agreements. After that, your data is either deleted or anonymised and aggregated, and any anonymised data we keep is used solely for analytics. Two categories are kept longer where a specific purpose requires it: financial and tax records, for the statutory period we are required to retain them (and, once online payments are enabled, for the period required by our payment processor); and, for captains and retailers, verification (KYC) documents, while a legitimate purpose continues — specifically fraud investigation and dispute traceability relating to activity carried out on the platform.
9. Security
We store Information securely and use standard, commercially reasonable safeguards such as encryption, firewalls, and SSL/TLS. However, no system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee that data transmitted over the internet or wireless networks will not be intercepted, and any transmission is at your own risk. Please keep your password confidential.
10. Children's Information
We do not knowingly collect Information from children under 18. The Zippyly App is available only to persons who can enter into a legally binding contract under Applicable Laws.
11. Grievance Officer & Exercising Your Rights
If you have any questions, requests, or complaints about how we handle your Information — including requests to access, correct, or erase your personal data — please contact our Grievance Officer:
- Name: Anshul Sood
- Email: grievance@antilver.com
How to make a request: email the Grievance Officer above, or use the in-app options (Profile in the Zippyly App). So that we can locate your records and verify that the request is genuinely yours, please include the mobile number registered with your Zippyly account — it is the identifier we use to identify you.
Response time: we aim to acknowledge and respond to grievances within 7 business days, and in all cases we will resolve them within 90 days of receipt.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. Updates take effect when the revised Policy is posted on the Zippyly Platform. If changes are material, we will notify you by email (to the address in your account) or by a notice in the App before they take effect. Please review this page periodically. Continuing to use the Zippyly App or the Services after an updated Policy takes effect indicates your acceptance of it.
